Hi All,

I now have one week and already I am starting to feel more like myself. I was quite apprehensive as I had to go out to a nightclub on Saturday for my husband's birthday. I didn't have a single drop of alcohol, and what's more, I didn't have the slightest desire to partake of it! I stuck to soda and water for the night and although tired yesterday as it was a late night, I was elated not to have to contend with the usual fear and anxiety that comes with the territory of drinking.

Feeling rejuvenated in my resolve to keep on the sobriety path for good. Life is so much better when you are in control of your behaviour and of who you are as a person!

That's wonderful. Congratulations! I know just what you mean about feeling more like yourself. Isn't it crazy that we created, fed and accepted being that lesser version of ourselves?
