I'm new here. My name is Kelsey. I'm the child of an addict. I'm probably also a former alcoholic/addict. I'm definitely codependent. I went to some alanon meeting when my father was in AA, around 17 years ago. Most recently I learned my mom and brother smoked meth in the same home my kids were being babysat at temporarily when I went back to work and was trying to find a daycare. I'm having a very hard time with it. Thanks for listening, sorry if this wasn't the right type of post for this thread...

Welcome to SR, Kelsey. Addiction hurts everyone. I'm so sorry that your children were victims just as you have been since childhood. I believe there is a forum for family members if you just scroll down a little. You might find additional support there.
