55 days clean
Whats up, I am 55 days clean from a 6 year oxycodone habit. The last 5 years of which I never went a day without it. Usage was 120mg-200mg a day. It's been rough to say the least, my acute withdrawl lasted 7-10 days but I still am anxious and depressed.
July of last year I started having severe neurological symptoms, vision loss muscle paralysis and spasms at work and they scared the crap out of me, at the time my doctor suspected ms. They subsided around October and I continued using pills. Around april of this year they came back once again and I made a decision that continuing to use oxycodone was detrimental to getting my condition diagnosed and treated. So I have been clean for 55 days now. I'm currently going through testing to get this figured out. I still don't feel right though, I don't know if it's paws are possibly my neurological symptoms causing me to feel so bad. My wife also left me and took my 3 kids in January, she filled for divorce about a week ago. I have a lot going on, but Im commited to stay clean.

To be honest I look at it as a blessing, I wouldn't have quit the pills if it didn't happen. I'm not new to addiction I quit a heavy 15 year alcohol and cocaine habit 9 years ago, when I had my first child. So it's not my first rodeo.
