Three months!
I don't keep exact count anymore, but it's more than three months today. Last month has been very tough with some potential legal problems (not alcohol related, just some bad business decisions) but to my surprise I haven't been tempted to pick up the bottle. I still find social life a bit of a struggle but besides that, no cravings and I haven't had any 'drinking' dreams for awhile. Not drinking at all is so much easier and more peaceful than my previous struggle to moderate.
For everyone in the early stages - just keep going, it gets easier.

Congratulations! And fantastic that you coped with legal problems without wanting to drink. I'm learning that life continues to throw problems at us but they never seem to escalate to the same degree now I deal with them head on and sober. Keep going

Even at more then 7 months sober I still struggle with social situations where drinking is involved. It's not being tempted to drink it is just not really knowing what to do. I drank in some form since I was 16 or so, so every time there was a party or get together I drank. Now I don't so when I go to these events I feel out of place to a degree. It is getting easier but still not there yet.

Congratulations! So happy you are feeling well and more at peace. Best wishes with the legal troubles... Even if difficult, it has to be so much better coping with it when you are strong, healthy and clear-minded. Way to go!
Keep going, it gets better.
