72 Hours

Just worked out that it has been 72 Hours since my last drink

I didn't even think that was possible a few days ago. Thanks for all your support.

So, day 3. Still got my thirst, it's just not shifting. Feeling a lot of pressure in the back of my head but also feeling light headed and dizzy.

Craving has not totally gone but not as strong.

I'm so glad I found this place.

Congrats on 72 hours!!! If you can do that, you can do the next 72. I think the beginning is the hardest. I'm on day 29. The longest I have ever quit. It's been difficult. When I get really bad cravings at night I just go to bed. That has helped me a lot. Keep up the awesome work!!!

Keep going! You are doing great.

It gets easier. Any discomfort you are feeling now is because you are getting better.

I woke up this morning feeling really guilty. I dreamt that I had a beer last night. Took me a few minutes to convince myself it was a dream.

Guess it's normal to dream about drink in this situation.

It is very normal, Tynesider.

My take is that as long as we are not 'happily' drinking away in our dream, and feel remorse about it, we are okay.

Dreams about alcohol is normal for me too. Even being 3 months off it.
