I stuffed up again on payday

My friend came over First thing on payday was attacking me because I rang my parents. Then he wanted me to go to the paint shop first when I had no food. He's just using me to make money. Take all my money then Dole out food like I am his wife. I couldn't even go grocery shopping because I was delegated one hour àway. Anyway I ended the friendship. Back on a binge. He is never setting foot in my house again. Really upset thanks for listening.

That sucks SCh, stay safe. Lesson learned? Drinking does not help you. Can you go to a meeting? Coffee/biscuits and human connection- from people who just share and support. Keep posting. Empathy and support.

Sorry to hear that, but you have to understand that the choice to drink comes down to you, it s nobody else s fault. life will keep throwing stuff your and everyone else's way, but drinking is never going to solve it.

Take it easy, stop the binge, and start again. You can do this.

He sounds like a jerk, but the others are right - no one can force you to drink. I've blamed everything external at various points, but it came down to me and making better choices for myself. Now that he's out of your life, you've made one improvement! The next should be to get back on the sober bus
