Just want to be sober
We're so glad to have you with us.
Not sleeping caused me problems too in the early days - it's very common. It should settle down though.
Congratulations on your 3 days sober - those first days are rough - I'm glad you're feeling ok other than the sleeplessness.

Welcome to SR...you will find a lot of support and understanding here. Insomnia is quite common during withdrawals but it will get better. The reward is worth the temporary pain many time over.
Welcome to SR, 01071951; very glad you found us.
Well done on 3 days of sobriety.
Sleep may be sporadic for a while; it was for me. The good. Wes is that your sleeping patterns should normalize in time.
Try to rest: eat small, healthful meals and be kind to yourself.
Your body is healing.

Physical withdrawal takes three or four days, so your sleep should start getting better soon. It can take a while tho, so don't worry if your sleep patterns are erratic for a while. It took me about a month til I could sleep well. It gets better!

Congrats on 3 days. If you don't mind going for a walk I strongly recommend doing so.
Headphones and a good podcast make the time fly by.
The walk + water typically go a long way in restoring normal bodily functions (sleep / anxiety / metabolism)
