Welcome 10r,
I also joined this forum after 2 weeks of sobriety. It has been a major reason I have been successful this time. I hope it helps you as well! There is some great advice here.

Hi 10r,
I was 9 days sober when I joined SR... Like so many here, SR has been amazingly helpful to me. Keep posting, read as much as possible about your addiction and form a solid plan... that's what has made the difference for me this time.

Hanging on there
Honestly, I never want to drink again.
I lost so many friends over the years is one reason.
I have a good relationship and family lifestyle which I want to keep.
Finally, I never want to go through what I just did in these past few weeks again.
I'm going to start seeing a psychologist next week for extra support.
I do the occasional AA meeting once in a while too.
What really helps is I can finally be honest with my wife.
Overall, feeling better
Thanks all for the warm welcome.
