To sum up in a word ( if possible)

I am thinking on how alcohol affects my life and the one word that jumps out is CHAOS.
By this I mean CHAOS mentally, physically, daily, nightly, brain scramble, obsession, panic. The reasons go on. Just wondered what word others would come up with ??

Interesting question. Disappointment is probably the best word to describe my drinking. I'm actually quite fine while the drinking is going on, but the next day is always a bust. I got sick of that cycle. There are no days of the week off the table now, ready to go 7 days a week.

Yes I agree with all the above regarding how alcohol negatively affected my life. It was horrendous.

But, since I stopped drinking, I prefer to focus on the positive, which for me, is freedom from alcohol!
