10 months tomorrow!
I made it!! Even when I about lost my mind last week. It was scary! Along with not drinking for 10 months, I haven't smoked in a month and a half and am now evaluating relationships that should have ended a long time ago. It's a lot of change. It can stress me out thinking about it all but I take a breath and a step to have a freedom I have never known. Maybe I'm doing to much to soon but I have to take out anything harmful that may push me to drink. I love going to AA and connecting with people just like me!! And I love you guys also. Sobriety is a crazy journey in the beginning but has been worth the ups and down. I don't want to go back to the old me.

Thanks! I know I share all my milestones. I guess I'm just used to it in AA. Every month that goes by I'm like *shocked face* The longest I went with out drinking was maybe 24 days... ONE DAY AT A TIME!!
Congratulations on both the 10 months and month and a half. One does not know until they stop smoking just how much freedom that gives them. Sounds like you are doing great. Relax and enjoy sobriety and life. Don't get "frantic" about recovery, because recovery is merely building a life free of alcohol and the journey of living a just life. Great to hear of your success.
