Day 4

I got back in contact with my sponsor and she is taking me to a meeting tonight. If I drink again I'm dead. Yesterday I was literally on the verge of collapse all day. I get paid tomorrow and are scared I will pick up a drink.

A meeting sounds like a great idea. I'm on day one again after 10 days sober and feeling pretty low, so no advice, just wanted to wish you well!

No, you won't pick up a drink. Because you're starting a new way of life - a clean, healthy way of life that will be full of freedom and happiness! You'll be so proud of yourself if you stay home and have a "regular boring weekday". Trust me, it'll feel great to wake up the next morning feeling free and clear!

When the alternative is a slow decline into death, I think you'll save your money tomorrow sweetichick.

I have faith in you to do the right thing

The meeting went really well. I think I misjudged my sponsor. She really is just trying to help.

I am day 4 too. 🙂 Keep going. Use the saved money to treat yourself in some other way (or catch up on a bill haha).

Great job, sweet! I also found that my best motivation is in realizing that it's either sobriety.....or death. We can do this together!

Hey Greg Knight they actually discuss Ed that at the meeting, the choice between sobriety or death. I know what I am picking.
