Day 11 - feel rubbish today,eyes feel like grit in them and I look awful ..really annoying as last few days felt great and could feel and see differences

Just feel like a big black cloud is hovering over me ..grr!

Anyway , will avoid human contact today I think !

On days like that I like to think back to one of my really bad hangovers (I have lots to choose from). I pick a particularly bad one; one that occurred after I had behaved appallingly in public and I remember the sickness, the guilt, the shame, the remorse, the self-loathing/pity all combined. I stay with those feelings for a while and suddenly my current day doesn't seem so bad anymore. Well done on 11 days; these fed up feelings will pass

Yes thinking back of feeling ill everyday checking my phone for stupid things I did nite before is a incentive! I'm surprised anyone speaks to me some of the damn rude mails and texts I drunkenly sent 🙊

Great job on 11 days and I totally agree with Dee. At first, I just found the tiniest thing to put on mine. Same with daily to dos - early on some of my lists (and I only put two or three down so I would feel like I accomplished something) were things like 1 shower 2 eat twice 3 nap. Not drinking and starting to do very basic things had to be "enough."

You can do this.
