Well I've made it a fortnight, still no cravings, but I'm still one day at a time, the time could come when it hits me like a ton of bricks, here's hoping its not today, on the upside, I've lost six pound in weight. Hope yous are all doing well xx

That's great!! As alcoholics we have to be constantly vigilant; alcohol is everywhere. But so is support!! Addiction is now being understood more and more, though it's still cunning and baffling in many ways.

Hope you're following a program of some kind - that's the best way to tackle it head on. Glad for your post, and congratulations again on 14 days!

Great job on two weeks!! Dr help and care is so important for us as we start our recovery. I know I had done a LOT of damage to my body during years of alcoholic drinking.

Most of us have other components to a program of recovery- mine is AA. Have you thought about "the complete package" as far as committing to permanent sobriety? Here at 14 months I have so many tools and a whole lot of growth that have gotten me and keep me sober.
