Introducing myself
Hi all -
This is new for me. Posted yesterday about my disaster over Easter weekend. Am not drinking now. I received a friend request from a person on SR and I believe I accepted it, but not sure!
I am married, have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Drinking has become a bigger and bigger problem in the past 10 to 12 years. I have been trying to manage it but now believe I just can't drink.
BTW my dad was an alcoholic - went to rehab at 70 and never drank again.
Thanks Suzette 3

Welcome Suzette!! I'm new here as well. I can't offer much advice yet other than Keep Coming Back and try to find an AA or that type of meeting close to u. They are EVERYWHERE. Meetings have helped in this early part for me. Stay consistent and make a recovery plan. Best advice ive seen is "Spend as much time on your sobriety as you did on your drinking and you will witness miracles." Welcome!
Welcome Suzette.
Have you found the April 2017 group? It's around here somewhere. It's for those of us who have joined this month to support each other (with 'older hands' popping in to say hi too).
