Day 5: The Big Challenge

On Day 5. Got doggone near 6 straight hours of sleep last night! Went to bed at 10 p last night but had to be up at 4:30 a to catch an early flight. Such is my life.

And therein lies the challenge. Today is a day trip. Flight out in morning, flight back in the evening. Near the end of my day I will be in an airport, and then on a plane, and will get home late. That is what tripped me up last time. "Relaxing" and "unwinding" in the airport. It is sooo tempting. It will indeed be a challenge.

So I scheduled a 6 am personal training appointment to fend off that temptation. Wish me strength!

I am on day 5 too! We can do this. Tip- find something else to do in the airport to avoid the bar. Look at books, read, do crossword' or game on your phone. Distract yourself!!

I hope everything goes well at the airport! Congrats on Day 5! I just picked up my first crossword puzzle in 20 years to distract myself, usually I pour my first Friday glass right about now. But not anymore! My best to you!

Don't forget you can also log on to online meetings and here. Drinking is a waste.

Thanks Dee, and everyone else for the support. I am planted in a food court with no bars. I am holding fast! I should be able to sleep on the plane, so I feel good. I'll get through it. Thanks again everyone!
