First meeting tomorrow

I've decided to explore an AA meeting tomorrow morning. It is a CD group and I must admit that I'm super nervous. Anyone with good first time experiences?

First is the scariest but you will soon realize a lot of the people there are like you. You will be very welcomed and come out feeling super! Please report how it goes

Honestly i was pretty terrified..lol but like SteveAlex says you begin to really realize that alot of the people there are just like you. They're your medicine as a collective. Please also remember that there are many meetings out there so if that one doesn't work i'm sure there is one that will .

I just sat my husband down and let him know my plan to go tomorrow. He knows that I'm an alcoholic but just doesn't understand how hard this is. He has no problem with addiction. However he was supportive and I'm glad to have him in my corner.
