Day 2

Feeling pretty good, but a little nervous. I've made it to this point before but always "reward" myself on Day 3. Already thinking of what I can do tomorrow to ensure that doesn't happen.

Have you seen the 'plan stuff in the sticky's? Work out what to do/think changing when tempted? Plus the meetings, doctor, counsellor stuff/ I do all of those. Also journal - lots of arty stuff to express my stuff, helps. Remember HALTS. Good for you on sharing. Keep posting, PJ.

On Day 2 (again myself)
I've had the dog out, just chilling at present but generally in a good mood. Started a journal and making a list of positives everyday and plans for the following day. Also started back into some craftwork for charity so feeling productive as well as positive.

Only downside was had a terrible night's sleep but at least I'm off so can have a nap if needed.

Sometimes after I clean my house I reward myself by throwing dirt everywhere. Makes as much sense.

Make the plan.
Work the plan.
You can do this.

Freedom - you could still "reward" yourself on day 3, but how about with something besides alcohol?

Good idea Pippo! I am actually out of town near a very excellent (and alcohol free) authentic Chinese restaurant, so I think that will be my reward tomorrow! Spring rolls!!
