30 days!
I am going to acknowledge this milestone and then be on with it.
30 days alcohol free this morning.
What I have gained:
Emotional Stability
Energy
Clear thinking
Self love
A different perspective on Alcohol
Money
No more alcohol bloat
Restful sleep
Dark circles are gone
Freedom from:
Hangovers, blacking out, saying things I do not mean, arguing with my husband. spending money on way too many string lights that need batteries to operate (what was I thinking? Oh, I wasnt. I was drunk. It doesnt qualify as thinking!)
For those of you in the first few days:
Hang on to SR. Think. Rest. Eat. Hydrate. Keep yourself busy. Reach out to friends. Take advice. Know that you will get through the beginning and be better off for it.
Thanks for being here SR. I am forever grateful for your support.
Onward and Upward!
