HI Jack
I'm glad you made it back.
I wish you the best for sure - but maybe instead of luck you need a better plan this time?
any ideas on what you might do differently?

well i think i tried to do too much in a hurry ,, i stopped drinking , started walking and started a diet ,, i thought i was keeping myself occupied but i think it became too much for me ,, i needed some TLC really
Untreated alcoholism?
That was my trouble, and it took a lot more than luck to fix it. I wish you all the luck in the world, but I doubt it will be enough.
Someone told me they had read a book on addiction and likened it to a dragon inside us. You can starve the dragon and it gets tinier and tinier but it never disappears.
But if you feed it, it grows so quickly again and starts to scratch your insides again whilst whispering "we have so much time to make up for!"
I think this is what happened to you after 13 days of starving that horrible beast.
I wish you luck because I know I need a ton of it too.
