If I am remembering correctly, Anvilhead has been Jonesin about the pregnant giraffe, April....and the long awaited birth.....
It went well for her, as millions watched the live feed....
Congratulations, Anvil! The new baby is cuter than cute!!

I watched her in labour this morning....it is no easy feat to give birth to a 150 pound 6 foot tall baby. 
The little fella is cute as can be and seemed to bond with daddy Oliver today and galloped around like a happy kid.
It's night time now but earlier it was sweet to watch the little one laying and bobbing his head trying not to fall asleep.

Ituvia...Anvil was hanging on by her fingernails....waiting for the birth to occur. In fact, even the animal handlers weren't for certain that she was actually pregnant...as the time seemed to be drawing out so long...(giraffes can take 15 months to deliver, I have read)....
After a while, the stress of the "watchful waiting" was beginning to take it's toll on poor Anvil....
Thus, the joke that I made was just to tease Anvil, a bit....
I believe Anvil to have a twisted sense of humor, similar to mine.....
And...I believe a good laugh is needed, around here, sometimes....
