Hi family! My name is Christine and i am an addict!!! This is a wonderful web site. I have been looking for a site like this for awile now. Well, let me tell everyone a little about myself. I am 31 years old and started using at the age of 21, although I have been around drugs my whole life ( My father died 10 years ago from speed balling on New Years Eve). I live in New York. 3 years ago I hit a bottom and asked for help. I worked my own program (no sponsor, no support group) and I ended up relapsing after i had 14 months clean. However today I am working my program the best I can on a daily basis. I have a great support group and a WONDERFUL sponsor who I trust with my life ( and thats major considering I have trouble trusting women). My clean date is November 11, 2003. I have 2 great kids, my son is 11 and my daughter is 9 which i got custody back due to this program. I have a great job that i have had for almost a year. I love my full life..... I am so greatful to my higher power and the rooms of NA for not waking up dope sick and for another day clean.....Thanks for letting me share!!!
