Up and Down....
Up and Down....
Hello there.
I am at a severely bad point in my life.
I've been on these forums on and off.
I have been to over 100 meetings but they make no difference :/
I 'had' been sober for several months....
I have just been made redundant (I had a total breakdown in my managers office :/ )
I am just focusing on NOT drinking! It's hard. Because it is so easy to pick up a drink
I've ran ten miles today - I am determined not to sink back into that life.

Meetings in and of themselves won't keep you sober. 100 or them or 1000 of them. It's doing the work suggested in the book that keeps a person sober. Even then, attitude is everything. If you don't believe you can be helped, you won't be.
Good job with the running! That's will help. Exercise and the right food a rest can do wonders!

Hi Cassie,
Well done for coming back and posting.
I'm sorry to hear about your redundancy, I know how bad that feels from personal experience.
I hope you find the strength to stay sober, it makes all those bumps along the road seem so much smoother.
Good luck to you. :-)

Sorry to read about your redundancy Cassie but congratulations on not drinking. You will be in a much better position to search for a new job (who knows maybe an even better one) sober so I really, really hope you can get through this difficult time.
