Feeling worse than when I drunk..
I have been sober for 10 days and I feel dreadful. My stomach is bloated and gurgling my head hurts my body aches and I'm so tired I could cry. Please tell me I'll feel better soon ;(((
First off, congrats on ten days!
Depending on the damage you've done to yourself drinking, you may feel poorly for a little while longer. But here's a thought, perhaps you picked up a bug somewhere and your current ailment has nothing to do with your sobriety. A visit to your doctor might be in order.

I found all kinds of aches and pains that showed up when I stopped sedating my central nervous system.
I took Ibuprofen more in the first month of sobriety than I've taken total in the past year.
I also was making a strong effort at healthy eating, I feel that helps the healing process.
It does get better. I agree that if you're worried a trip to the doc might be good.

A trip to your doctor may be helpful as most folks will suggest; SR takes caution on offering medical advice due to potential risks.
During my first ten days when I finally quit it was obvious my body was figuring out how to function without alcohol...my digestion was off, headaches, insomnia, skin, irritability, brain fog, etc.
Hope your body adjusts soon...it can certainly be uncomfortable.

Day 9 here. I feel better than I did in the first few days of sobriety, but am definitely still off. I have a feeling that the damage we have done to ourselves will take our bodies a while to recover from. Hang in there.
