One week sober

Yesterday was day 7 with no alcohol, and I feel amazing! So far it has been easier than I anticipated. The first few days I had a headache and felt like I was walking in a cloud, but things are much better now. Yesterday was the first day that I thought 'Oh it would be nice to have a few glasses of wine' (this was after spending 4hrs power washing my deck, feeling tired and achy), but I had some Ben and Jerry's strawberry cheesecake ice cream instead and it passed. I feel like a completely different person from the one I was a week ago...and I have SR to thank. I don't think I would have been as successful without it!

Congrats on 7 days! I too go for desserts to reward myself after hard work instead of drinking, so much yummier
