One year sober today :)
One day at a time....
I am enjoying sobriety and truly could not picture enjoying it while I was drinking. I thought I couldn't deal with pain, stress, euphoric feelings or boredom without the alcohol - the truth is, alcohol caused me a great deal of suffering, stress, boredom.

Congrats madgirl!!! That is what I was thinking...we drink to stuff all those feelings...we quit drinking and find out drinking caused all those feelings! Good job on your first year.
