Who am I
Good morning everyone. New to the recovery chat rooms. Just wanted to introduce myself.
Really name is Steven. Ft. Lauderdale area. Sobriety date is November 4th 2014.
Currently finishing up a 36 month prison sentence due to choices I made while in active addiction. Work release at the moment until June 22nd.
Prison isn't the reason I am clean today, everything from the streets is in there as well. Close and accessible. I made a decision to allow the God of my understanding to to guide me and open my eyes to where I can see from my Spirit opposed to from my flesh.
Gratitude and appreciation has come from my recent incarceration.
If it wasn't for Gods intervention, death was my only other option. Physical death. Because Spiritually....it had already happened.

hey there.... welcome. And congratulations for finding strength and spirit and making it through a situation that has every potential to make things worse.
Sounds like you've got yourself on a path of turnaround, depth, abundance, gratitude and goodness in life.
Keep it up, you'll have all this behind you and have a life of joy and gratitude and blessing ahead.
glad to have you around.
