Failing miserably
I am failing. When I binge I am worse than before. I had a few days of sobriety and then last night drank 3 bottles of wine!!! How am I not dead from alcohol poisoning? I've got a hangover but am worried I should go to ER but am too scared
Hey Sober Nunn -
Go to the ER is you're concerned, but I hope you'll feel better soon
why don't you post here first if you're struggling? before the booze buying?
We can keep you company and talk you out of drinking.

It's really good that you realize there is a problem. I agree with the others that responded that you should go to the ER if you are concerned. You are conscious though so that's a good thing.
Also it's good that you are posting here. But like you mentioned, it keeps getting worse and that is a common pattern. I had the same thing keep happening to me. It scared me terribly. I found support here, in meetings, and through sober friends.
Hope you feel better soon.

Don't worry about that. I've gone twice and they understand completely. They see it every day and know how to help you.
Just like here, you will not be judged.
I was scared of going, too. But so glad I did. I was treated so nicely and compassionately.
Do go if you're scared. I hope you feel better.

If you go, just tell them the truth...that you can't stop drinking and that you want to. They have seen it many, many times so there's nothing to be ashamed of or afraid they haven't heard before. They can assess your health and decide what might be best. Don't rule out detox either if they suggest it, sometimes it takes extreme measures to fix extreme problems.

I went to the ER but they were really busy so I left. I'm home now in bed. My blood pressure is ok so I'm just going to try sleep it off. I went to my doc last week and she gave me a script for campril so I will have to start taking that
