OK this is CRAZY!
So an earlier thread I started got some great responses that really resonatedoesn't with me...really made me think.
So I decided to get off the couch and go for a walk to think things through.
I'm a bit of a nature girl and I like to walk a long ways on a pretty isolated beach. Usually my footprints are the only ones I see. Today was no different.
Since the begining of the year, and the beginning of most most recent journey to get a handle of my drinking...every walk I've been collecting small things to...I don't know exactly what...to commemorate that day's resolve?...to look for a meaning in nature's offerings?? Something like that.
So now I have a small jar where I've collected pieces of beach glass, a fossil, some pretry rocks...even what I think is a coyote tooth.
Today the beach was frozen and the few things I saw I couldn't pry out of the ice anyway. So I was intent on leaving empty handed.
Then I saw a brightly colored price of paper on top of the ice. It had a cartoon on the front and writing on the back. I actually said out loud "apparently you're my message for the day" jokingly cause I don't count picking up trash as a message. So I put it in my pocket.
When I got home and put my glasses on...I see the cartoon is brightly colored angels...and the writing in the back is the serenity prayer!! And the paper is in perfect condition!
That's crazy, right?
(I should add that this nature girl is an athesis...so...man...just so crazy)

When everything is in alignment, the universe grants us sweet mystery clues that we're on the right path...
It doesn't need to be God...it just indicates that the world is opening to you & supporting you as you choose the life-affirming path.
When we're moving in the right direction, doors open easily to our light touch...

Wow! That is some cosmic force talking to you right there
I had a similar thing happen to me 2 days ago. I hit the 90 day milestone and whilst on my morning walk I decided, on impulse, to head home a different way. On this different route I saw an injured baby kookaburra so I scooted home, got a towel and came back for her. Called RSPCA and was told I could take her to any vet to get her checked and treated.
Took her to the vet and was told she could be treated
My life was 'saved' 3 months ago and I got to pay it forward and help in saving another life. That is one day I will never forget.

I'm not at all anti-science, but there is A LOT that we still cannot explain. Science does not account for everything.
More than once, things like that have happened to me too. Is it really just a coincidence, just chance???
