Howdy!
Hello everyone! I'm 5 months sober today. I googled "dealing with the frustrations of sobriety" and came across this site. I read a bunch of great stories, and feel like I'm on the right path. Thanks for your stories, and inspiration! It hasn't been a cake walk these last few months, especially with the holidays, but its worth it. Thanks everyone for making me feel that I'm not alone. And with that, I tell you... neither are you!

Congratulations on your sober time - that's fabulous! I know what you mean about the holidays. My first ones sober, I felt a little sorry for myself. I'm not sure why, since drinking had only brought me misery for a long time. Glad you are here - as you said, we're never alone. That made all the difference to me.
