My little bit of news
I wrote a fairly long post which disappeared somewhere. I was told I wasn't logged in and had to log in to post it when I was logged in already.
Anyway never mind, all I want to say is that this is my second day not drinking. It's been very difficult this time. So I'm feeling fairly pleased with myself. Long may it continue.
I thought I'd mention this as it'will help me to avoid giving in and looking silly.

Congrats on two days.
I think the system can time out and log you off if you are doing a long post. If you know you are going to be submitting a long post, a precaution is to copy your post before you submit, or write it in a text app and copy it into SR.

Congrats on day 2 taplow! It is a pretty amazing feeling to go a day or two without drinking after daily drinking for a long time. Stay close to SR.
I highly recommend that you join the January 2017 thread to be with a similar group of folks whom are quitting the same time as you!

Yeah the forum is logging me off too. If you have a post that is going to longer or you really need to put out there, write it in word and copy it over after making sure you're logged in. Minimizes frustration. When it happens to me I just assume its fate saying 'you didn't need to post that'. Haha.

Thanks very much everyone. I know it's only day 3 for me but I'm feeling really good now I'm into it. There's a great resource here and I hope to make good use of it and explore it more thoroughly. Wasn't much point when I was drunk.
