Happy New Year

One year ago I was wildly optimistic heading into 2016 sober, what I could not predict was the wheels falling off around the 1 month mark followed by two more weak attempts to get my head right and stop drinking.

Fast forward 365, I am headed into 2017 with 174 days under my belt, and a solid support system helping me hold myself accountable. Things have not changed quickly and it sure as hell has not been easy since I hit my bottom in July, but my life certainly has changed.

Nice going! Sometimes it takes a try to two to get on the right path. 174 is around 6 months. That's a wonderful way to end the year.
