Good Morning SR! We are two days away from a new year, and I know the holiday season can be difficult as we traverse family gatherings, parties, and perceived expectations.

Looking forward to 2017! This past year started off with my 2nd DUI on Jan 1,2016..What a way to start the year,right? I've been paying legal fees out the wazoo. Lost my DL in Nov for 90 days,could have been a year..BUT...I found my way to a meeting through it all and I am very thankful for that!

I am also excited for 2017. I have moved back to the USA, not on opiates or booze today and feeling pretty hopeful. Here is to putting 2016 behind us!!!!!!

Probs for the 1st time ever I am excited NOT to go out... I don't give a toss about a big party or fancy clothes of booze....I want a.duvet and knitting and tea and family. ... I hope that lasts for 365 days of the year!

This will be my first new years sober that i can recall in recent memory. Stayingvin, daughter to bed by 9 or so. Hubby and i will watch a movie perhaps then to bed. I survived christmas sober and so i will new years as well. 68 days in and feeling a bit blue but it will pass i am sure.
