Nothing to lose in sobriety

I think a "nagging point" for me was having to identify as a non drinker in social situations but really what do I have to lose in that?

I was losing so much else binging.

That inner voice that says only cool people drink?

...drink so much that they vomit all over the bathroom? Pee on the furniture? Wake up in a strange bed with no memory?

They don't show that in the bourbon ads.

I get a kick out of them using professional athletes for booze ads...cause you know those guys optimize their physical and mental health by ingesting large quantities of high-calorie toxins...

Until it's second nature, "None for me today, thanks" works just fine most of the time...

For me it was everything to gain - no regrets the next day, money saved, being able to just drive home, hangover free mornings the next day, better health, better sleep, better eating habits . . . the list goes on!!

Keep pushing through Water!!
