As a substitute teacher, I work in many schools. I worked at a school I have been at many times. Many kids said hello or waved. They talked about what will be doing for the holidays. During recess, a kid bouncing a ball came up to me. She talked about her family and plans for the holidays. She waved good bye to me at the end of the day. Another kid talked about what's going on with her and the problems she has dealing her older sister. Another kid shared his frustrations being the youngest boy in an all female family. Being a sounding board for these kids that see me as no threat to their lives and be able to maybe give some encouragement to these kids is a blessing. John
