Today is my AS's birthday. I don't know where he is. He does not speak to me. But I was able to text him Happy Birthday. I have not received any acknowledgement and don't expect that I will. I told him I was glad that he had been my baby boy.

Oh, Bella...I am sorry

I sent an e-mail to my stepson wishing him a happy Thanksgiving, and he did reply briefly. So, I know he's alive at least.

He does not speak to me.

BellaB-I am the alcoholic father whose son's do not speak to anymore. All I know is I love and miss them terribly. So , at least on that score I have a little understanding . My thoughts, prayers and support to you and your son. PJ

I am so sorry Bella for your pain. Its hard to not know how or where our children are when they are overcome by addiction. I am sending you great big hugs.. I wish we could turn a switch and not be a mother, but that is not what God intended when He created woman.
