30 Days!
Well I sprang out of bed today knowing that I had somewhere to be and proud that I made it through the entire weekend without drinking. On top of that I’m at Day 30 Woohoo! I’ve busted my butt. The day has been kind of dampered by my morning though. I got to work to find a text from my buddy of close to 25 years. I guess he got engaged awhile ago and decided to break the news via text. I’m happy for him but c’mon pick up the damn phone. F-in social media is destroying relationships. Anywho I’m happy to be at Day 30 but I can’t help to feel a little agitated.

Hey there,
I went to a 4pm meeting and i still don't feel very good. This has been the oddest 30th day since i decided to stop drinking. The day started off great but has just gone down hill.
I'm wallowing in self-pity right now about people and how they are treating me. Girlfriend who is pretty distant, on top of buddy who i've known for years basically blowing me off and texting me he is getting married. A friend who is homeless calling me to borrow money..good ******' grief. This guy is very capable of working and he calls me for money. I'm tired of being treated like this..end rant. I'm in bed already because i want this day to end.
