It's just going to be another sober day

Happy thanksgiving all,
It's just another sober day. Going to stick to the plan. Have my non-alcholic drink of choice readily available. After everyone else gets a few drinks in them they won't even notice I'm not drinking anyway. I hope you guys here in the US enjoy a sober and happy holiday. Please let's stick to our plans! I love my SR family

Yep, its another day to be grateful. Your idea is a sound one. And once the eating begins you won't even want alcohol. Less all the booze calories you can have two desserts!

Great plan Matt. My second sober thanksgiving coming up. Gonna get a spartan workout in, watch my Vikings win, and wonder why my parents didn't invite me over for thanksgiving (I care, but not much).

Hey Matt, its a long story, and they probably know I would have declined, but I thought it would show common courtesy to at least extend the invitation. My wife and my mother have a "history", and my Mom is the aggressor.

Another grateful sober day for me too. Especially since it's one month to the day since I found Jack.

Glad you are sticking to your plan and keeping it a drama free day, which is what it should be. Alcohol often makes days more than what they are because it charges everyone up. Fortunately, I am just spending tonight with my parents and husband at a restaurant. The fewer people, the better!
