It takes time to figure out some things
I've worked as or advised as an industrial mechanic for many years. There have been many mishaps, as normal, with electricity.
Now, anything over 110 volt will just knock you down, slap you back, leave you with a headache. 110 volt hangs on to you. I've been petrified by 110 volt a few times. Can't move, can't stop the pain and damage.
I learned how to disconnect. I learned how to get away. I think the greatest get away was being trapped between two machines where one was grounded and one wasn't. Current went to ground through me. I was trapped.
Until I walked away. I willed myself to walk away. My hands stayed in contact because of the current until I walked away.
Walk away.
Don't let the current hold and kill you. Walk away. You can. A couple of steps and you're free.
