Day 16 - newcomer to SR
Hello my name is Jeremiah and I am just starting my recovery.
Day 16! Yesterday I was home alone for the first time in a while and I thought about drinking the entire day. My head felt like it was going to explode and I could literally taste beer. I felt like ****! I felt like everything I was doing was a mistake, the anxiety was insane I was literally looking at career changes and trying to find out why I was a failure. Facing all your problems sober makes you feel so vulnerable it is really hard on your mind.
I still didnt have a drink; though. I like to come here and read the forums. Makes me feel like I am not alone and I survived yesterday. Probably the hardest day so far.
