Election day is not an excuse to drink!
I know nerves are high on both sides. But no matter the outcome, good or bad for you personally, it is not a reason to drink!! It will not change the results and it will just make everything worse. I am not going to drink tonight, join me!
The freedom to vote is one of our greatest treasures in the United States .
It's a disservice to all of the brave men and women that have fought for this freedom.
I'll respect the will of the people for who ever wins..

Haha! Well I certainly hope not! Ya know, our press 'machine' and 'political' machine just love FEAR! Fear fear and more fear. Oh my GOD the world is going to end. Nope. Its not. We have a 3 branch govt for a reason. Its all good. Deep breathing.
I completely agree with the Captain....the will of the people....or the electoral college...depending how ya look at it. The system works. And as an American I will be proud no matter what the outcome is!
God Bless America!!!!

I am a nervous wreck and have other things going on that have made me flirt with drinking tonight. Redirecting it....took 1/2 day off (work stress a trigger). Heading over to my yoga place that is offering their incredible meditation room for all who need it today. Then getting Ben and Jerry's on the way home!
We cannot use this crazy election as a way to let AV win!

I worked out I've had 8 presidents in my time (from Johnson to Obama) and 12 Australian PMs.
Some I liked, some I didn't - but things kept on pretty much the same, regardless.
Drinking would be an awful waste of a fresh new day

I answer to a higher power.
I pray for our leaders, no matter who they are - but how things get governed is out of my control and I believe they will continue to do the best they can. It isn't up to me to worry about how they do their jobs. I did vote, and then immediately let go of the outcome.
Thy will be done.
