My First SR Post: 29 days straight sober :)

Hello out there! I just registered a few moments ago. Today is my 29th straight day of being sober, after drinking heavily for many years. Not sure how this site works yet...

Thank you all! I'm planting a jasmine plant by my front window to celebrate day 30. I am also enjoying the driving bit, January!

I feel like a fog is lifting off of my brain. It's as if I'm waking up and finding all these things around me that I've been leaving undone.

I'm also starting to get some physical energy again so that hopefully I can tackle most of the messes I've made around me over the years. The past few months have been hard but I think I'm finally coming out on the other side!

I'm so thankful! And I'm very excited to be here with you all so I can have someone to share this experience with

My first post was at 21 days Sober (Congrats on your 30!) because at that point i knew it was possible and SR was & continues to be my main support group. Take care..
