An extra hour to be sober

It is Day 15. Still exhausted, but feeling better. My bruises are fading (if you remember me you know my last night drinking included what appears to be a fall down stairs). What I'm noticing most is my Blood Pressure is down, my Blood Sugar is down...these are very positive improvements. I knew I was hurting myself, but I didn't recognize that my diabetes and HBP might be related to the drinking. Duh!

Remember to set your clock back!

congrats on 15 days. What is it with us and stairs? I too am recovering from a very bad fall last weekend that landed me in ER having all kinds of fun xrays and scans. Bruises healing but my chest, which took the most of the fall still hurts like a b****. Dr. said it'll be weeks but at least I didn't break anything!!!
Thank god we NEVER have to go through that again!

Happy Sober Sunday!

wishing you a speedy recovery. I was lucky, don't remember the fall, but that is the only explanation for the bruises since no furniture was displaced, bruised on both sides and a concussion.

but...it was my wake up call and why I stopped so it was a good thing.
