6 weeks...

Morning guys..

Havent posted in a while but wanted to share i hit six weeks yesterday. What a rollercoaster its been. I still get anxiety and i certainly still have my depressive moods but i feel myself getting stronger every day. I'm rebuilding my life slowly but surely and my relationships seem to be getting better as well. I must stay sober no matter what it takes because i truly believe i dont have another bust in me. Next step cigarettes. Can anyone share how they managed to kick the habit. I smoke a pack a day.

Love you guys x

Congratulations on you 6 weeks, Dim.
I managed to quit smoking, after several relapses, by chewing Nocorette gum.
It was tough, with so many of my co-workers lighting up.
Mind you: that was 9 years before I quit drinking.
Seems I could quit cigarettes for my wife and kids.
But, in order to put down the alcohol, for good, I needed the 12 steps of AA.

Hey dim,
Great work on six weeks. I am getting ready to try and quit the cigs as well. I'm going to use the patches and I already have boxes of tooth pics every where. I'll let you know how I do . My quit day is in four days which will be 4 months sober. We can do it together!
