My body is confused I think
I have never been this healthy (diet and exercise) probably ever. No alcohol, caffeine, sugar (candy and soda i mean), etc. I don't overeat very often and am quite careful to make sure I am active (ish). Weight really dropped and I feel really good, but very tired. I have high blood pressure and have changed multiple times the medication to treat it. Now I am having issues with my heart rate being too low. It used to stay at 56-60 but now has been in the 43-46 range. Doctors confirm it is too low and we are on the 3rd different medicine for blood pressure to see if we can get it back up. I read up on bradycardia (the low heart rate thing I got) and alcohol increases the rate. My question is if anybody else had this issue? I'm concerned that I have had this issue for a long time and the alcohol (lots of it) was keeping my heart at the proper beat. I certainly don't want a pacemaker, but this is starting to get a bit scary! Thanks for any info. Doctors are pretty confused on the matter.
Have you had a full work up with a cardiac specialist? How do you FEEL with a heart rate that low? Good job on living healthy! Can't go wrong there. I gave up almost all sugary stuff last year and felt so much better; not as sluggish.

Quite the opposite for me I guess. I am tired and crash pretty hard. I have had ct scans and stuff on my organs, but the true blue cardiologist is next if this next medicine doesn't get things right. All in all I feel great in comparison to the old days.
