Giving sobriety another go

It is day 3.

Annoyed with myself but also realize that now is a great time to stop again before I mess up my life.

You entitled your post "Giving sobriety another go"

You probably didn't intend it to sound this way, but giving something a "go" doesn't exactly ring with commitment. It's kind of like you'll try sobriety, but if you should drink, that's okay.

Again, not saying that's what you mean. But look deep into your heart and ask yourself, "Am I completely committed to recovery, to never drinking again, and willing to do whatever it takes?"

Alcoholism is life and death. Your commitment to recovery needs to be equally serious.

Congratulations on your day 3 sober.

And I think you are correct, now is the best time to be sober. Some will only put it off till tomorrow, problem is tomorrow might not come.

Good luck,
M-Bob
