Day 6 and feeling better

Had a friend that is sober invite me to play tennis this morning. Had a blast! Went to the library and got a new book. Now on to work to have some fun and make some money. What a beautiful sober day. A week ago I was really down and my anxiety was through the roof. I'm beginning to remember the perks of a clear mind and body. Still have a lot of work and a long road to walk. Just finding gratitude for what I have today. Everyone stay away from the poison today and it will be wonderful! Have a great day my friends!

Great job. How bad was your drinking before you quit?

I would go back and forth...a month here...2 months there of sobriety. When I did drink I would binge for days at a time and make quite an ass of myself. Glad to be back to being a person that people like to be around.
