still sober
My dad's cancer took over and dad passed yesterday about a half hour after I arrived (I left work early).

Dad survived 4 months and one week after mon's passing.

I'm still sober. Working on positive relationships with siblings and sis in law.

No matter what, we can be strong, stay sober and survive crisis.

Sorry to hear, I know how hard it was not to drink when my mum died. I'm just glad she see me sober before she went something my dad missed by a couple of years. Stay strong I bet they would be proud!

so sorry for your loss. I remember losing my mom to cancer, it was rough and what I did to cope is something I still regret to this day.

Sugar, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing.

I've always found you inspiring because you work such a strong program and know how to use those steps daily. Thanks for showing us that we can get through anything without a drink or drug.
