Unwanted Gift
First, I don't posted often, but visit almost daily... Love this site... I have 6 months of sobriety THIS week! ... And now this issue...
My neighbor (who is moving) dropped off an entire case of booze on my front porch while I was working... We used to drink together on weekends. They're moving to their mountain cabin and are downsizing... I guess they don't have room for it all.
The case is still on the porch... I've locked the door and am sequestered in the room at the furtherest point of the house from it... My stomach is in knots... they've had their phone turned off... Trying to think of someone who I can have take it.

You don't want to insult him by leaving it on the curb.
I agree pour it out.
When I poured out 3 plus liters of booze the day I quit, it felt right.
I knew if the booze was there, in my first few days and weeks of sobriety, I would drink again.
You have 6 months clean. You have had a bunch of chances to relapse and didn't. Those alone times, those times when you didn't have to be anywhere for a few days. You didn't drink. Me too. That is building some serious sober muscles.
Congrats on that.
Put the booze in the toilet where we all agree it belongs.

I would pick it up and take it to the nearest dumpster. And probably not say a word about it to the neighbor; if they bring it up, demur and change the topic to their move.
Great job on 6mo! Stay strong.

Congrats on your six months. I like Bob's suggestion. But if you're concerned this might offend the neighbor, why not just dump it out? Are you concerned that you will be too tempted to drink? If so, can you have someone else just dump it? Personally, I believe leaving it sit by your front door is a bad idea.
It sounds like this is one of those times that you have to do whatever needs to be done to protect your sobriety, even if the action could potentially annoy another person (although, it shouldn't), or even if it seems like you're wasting booze that cost money.

If you are that uncomfortable confronting it yourself do you have someone you can call to come get it and take it away? Are you in AA? You could call someone with more sober time or someone who feels more secure and ask them to help you get rid of it.
