I almost drank tonight

In short, I for whatever reason am eating a bunch of junk food tonight (out of character nowadays as I diet pretty hard) and randomly now at 2 in the morning I am seriously one more thought process away from pouring 4 shots into a glass and throwing it back. I dont know whats going on in the ol noggin..

My life is infinetely better without booze. The short term buzz from liquor is nothing compared to that long term sober happiness buzz

Ok good night folks

you have control over your thinking, tell the AV to get lost, you are not drinking.
That you are now taking back control and am going to do what is right for a great future and not one controlled by an addictive voice.

Well done for posting on here it shows accountability and you are doing so well and you will keep on doing well. Personally I would pour that liquor down the sink to avoid any future temptation as I know of I have it in the house I will drink it. Elle👍

Stay strong. Keep us up to date. I tried glutamine for cravings. Placebo or not I think it worked.

I hope you get rid of the alcohol in the house. Those middle of the night cravings will be easier to deal with when you get rid of the alcohol.
