30 day update
Hey Everyone,
I am on day 31 as of this morning! I have been to 4 AA meetings and marriage counseling to try to fix the damage from years of alcohol abuse. I am successfully making it one day at a time.
I did have something dawn on me during this period of sobriety. I really hate my job. I think it exacerbated my alcohol use. Did anyone else run into this realization once they stopped drinking? I am thinking that it would be better for my sobriety to start looking for a new job with a less stressful work environment.
Anyway, thanks to everyone's support and stories for helping me on my journey thus far
I still have a long way to go, but I know I'll always have this place for support.

I've been drinking for a very long time but over the past two years, my alcohol consumption has increased dramatically. It's the amount of time that I've been in my current role and it's incredibly stressful. Hang in there.
